Please plan to come to 2008 Annual Meeting, which is being held this year at the Hometown Buffet, 330 S Wilmot Ave in Tucson (just South of Broadway on the west side) from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12.  Thanks to Hal Feldman getting us a ganga deal... the all-inclusive cost is $8 per person for the full breakfast buffet. 

I can't say how important this meeting is to the future of the club.  We will be taking a look back over the past year, talking about how we want the club to look in 2008, and deciding how we will achieve that vision. We definitely will be electing a new president, and possibly create and/or fill some other posts as well.  Please consider running for an office that suits your skills and interests. 

Also, whether or not you are in the position to take on an office, you are in the position to step up to the plate - not only with ideas for drive outs and other events - but with an offer to lead them.   If you haven't lead an event, now is the time.   It can be short.  It can be long.  It can be simple.  It can be complicated.  Lots of people might want to go.  Maybe only a few will want to go.  It makes no matter... People will go and people will have a great time.  As a popular sportswear manufacturer would say - "Just do it!"  Or as Kevin Costner's character in Field of Dreams said "Build it and they will come."  I could give more examples, but I think you get the point.  Whether you have ever lead an event before or not, I guarantee you will have the help you need to make your event manageable and fun. 

Please sign up below by 1/10 if you are planning to attend so the Hometown Buffet knows how big a space to section off for us.  I think they want one payment, so please also bring $8 pp cash..  Also, if you haven't paid your dues by then, please bring your $20 check to the meeting.  No forms are needed unless you are a new member.
