Due to the generosity of her boss, Judy Hite has once again secured use of this beautiful cabin located at about 9,000 feet on Mt. Lemmon for a three-day weekend by the OPMC.  This year's OPMC weekend at the cabin will be Friday thru Sunday, July 25, 26, and 27, 2008.

On Saturday, Judy and Joe Hite will again host a BBQ for OPMC folks who stay over Friday night, as well as OPMC members who drive up for the day on Saturday. New Info: We have now (as we did last year) extended an invitation to attend the Saturday BBQ to members of the Phoenix Sahuaro Miata Club -- those of you from Sahuaro please signup via the survey link below.  New Info: Meat for the grill, condiments, non-alcoholic beverages, and tableware will be provided, but it is requested that those attending the BBQ bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share.  BYOB if you want a particular alcoholic beverage for yourself.  Also please bring a folding chair for your use since they are in short supply at the cabin.

New Info: those coming up on Saturday, July 26th, please meet at the NE corner of Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway (Safeway/McDonalds parking lot) at 9:45 AM for a 10 AM departure to the cabin led my Richard and Susan Olsen.  You will have to travel a short distance on a well maintained un-paved road to reach the cabin from Summerhaven, but this has not been a problem for our Miatas in the past.

Those wishing to stay overnight at the cabin must contact Judy Hite directly to make their over night lodging reservation.  Lodging space for Friday and/or Saturday night is limited and will be allocated by Judy on the basis of who contacts her first.  Communicate directly with Judy via contact info on the members only page of this website.

This has been a very popular event over the past few years and we hope many of you will join Judy and Joe at the cabin during the days or over night.  This will once again be a fun and relaxing weekend atop cool and beautiful Mt Lemmon.  Please sign-up via the survey form below and be sure to specify which days and nights you will be participating, and especially if you will be coming for the Saturday BBQ which has been the highlight of the weekend.
